Andrew Milone
Andrew Milone is the Co-Founder of PIERCE Education, EMS Instructor and coordinator of the Special Operations Medical Training Facility (The Grove) at Robeson Community College. Andrew joined the Army at age 17 in a non-medical capacity, years later changed MOS to Combat Medic, and deployed as such to Baghdad, Iraq during the Civil War (Surge deployment) for 16 months. During that time, he served at Baghdad ER as a trauma team leader, a trauma NCOIC at Witchdoctor TMC, and as a Senior Medic on the (DART) Downed Aircraft Recovery Team, amongst other responsibilities.
Andrew has worked for various EMS services, hospital based, and county based, and rescue units. He has served in a variety of roles in his EMS career such as: on Critical Care crews, TacMed, to Supervisor of EMS shifts.
Andrew has a BA in History he obtained with multiple honors and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fayetteville State University. Andrew is a North Carolina, South Carolina, and National Registry Certified Paramedic, and is an IBSC Board Certified Tactical Paramedic; along with being involved with some of the earliest iterations of the Army TCCC courses, and holds multiple instructor certifications, and teaches multiple courses.
Andrew is a competitive powerlifter and loves anything related to history. He has a passion for PTSD awareness and mental health treatment for veterans and first responders.
